Review

... by Gino ... is a pleasantly mineral Verdicchio, characterized by great freshness and pleasant drinking. Pale in the glass, it is pale straw yellow with timid greenish reflections. The nose reveals good workmanship and great typicality, with hints of hawthorn, peach blossom, plum, apple, almond and, to close, light mineral and icing sugar references. In the mouth it transmits a great gustatory tension, a triumph of pleasantness and drinkability; vivid, sharp, with a good alcoholic sensation, it closes sapid-bitter and long persistence. A small great masterpiece for the daily table, very suitable in summer, ideal to accompany fish and shellfish dishes.

Easy drinking

Good pre food or with charcuterie easygoing summer white that is really good value for money. My girlfriend loves as her go to basic wine. Basic meant in a good way

Lovely taste but a slightly pinkish hue!

A wonderful crisp verdicchio, clean and full of fruit. However the wine has a very slightly pink tinge to it which is a little off putting when you pour a glass, although it still tastes very pleasant.

favourite

This wine is an all time favourite. Extremely good value, don't think you will find a better wine for this price

Fattoria San Lorenzo

The running of the winery has been handed down from father to son for several generations. Enrico Crognaletti, grandfather of the current owner, Natalino, in addition to making good Verdicchio wine was also a good cooper: he selected the oaks and built the barrels that he needed to make his wine. Gino, Natalino’s father, was a talented winemaker, who spent almost all his life in selecting old Verdicchio clones (in the old vineyards called "tree-lined"). His choice of bunc...
