With this wine Gaja offers a new interpretation of the Langa red, expertly blending Nebbiolo, Barbera and Merlot.
Pale ruby red color. The nose is an exuberant explosion of aromas of small red and black berry fruits (blueberries and raspberries) and sour cherries in alcohol; then light herbaceous and floral notes of violet are perceived. On the palate it is balanced, soft, the tannins are silky and the finish is pleasantly fresh.
Excellent with a Piedmontese-style steak; ideal for your duck recipes and to accompany a plateau of delicious cheeses.
