What does lambrusco taste like?
There are many styles of lambrusco, first of all because there are many varieties of lambrusco grapes. However they are always fresh red or rosé wines, very fruity, with notes of cherry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry. In the mouth they can be lighter or more structured, but always dynamic and with a tantalizing bubbles.
Lambrusco is produced in Emilia, between Parma and Bologna, but mainly between Modena and Reggio Emilia, in the north of Italy. It is the region of Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and ragù Bolognese. Lambrusco di Sorbara, Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce, Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro, Modena and Reggiano are the most important Lambrusco DOCs.
In our wine shop, you will find all these types and surely also the one which is right for you! What are you waiting for? Discover them all!
