Details for Lunae Colli di Luni Vermentino Etichetta Nera 2019
Bottle size and vintage
The "definitive" Vermentino of the Colli di Luni, between Liguria and Tuscany, where the sea, but also the beautiful hills that drop away between the two regions, give this vine a unique personality, a broad richness and an incredibly aromatic softness. Between the maritime and the hills of Lunigiana and the Apuan Alps, Etichetta Nera is one of the most enchanting Italian whites of.
Even though aged only in steel, it has an irresistible straw yellow colour, dotted with gold, of an exceptional and persuasive brilliance. But the great persuasiveness of the leader of the Bosoni house is the aroma. The typically floral hints of broom and the equally characteristic ones of aromatic herbs, are accompanied by a strong and unmistakable fruity sub-plot that is the trademark of Vermentino di Lunae. And what stands out is a full and enveloping note of ripe peach, which is the ideal contrast to the elderberry, in light citrus, in the freshest sage fragrant.
The taste is of true class. Succulent but crisp, on the palate it is soft, harmonious, balanced, of highly refined elegance. These features confirm the Black Label as a wine of special occasions, not only summer and light. The persistence, which draws to mind the whole range of olfactory sensations, is satisfying, long and memorable.

Flinty and elegant
Drier, flintier and more elegant than the more fruity grey label. Complex and sophisticated with a long finish. Slightly disappointing nose.by: Valérie (17/07/2019) - Vintage 2018
Je l'ai gouté en Italie et en ai acheté 4 bouteilles : vin blanc très agréable avec le poisson et les crustacésby: Uberto (02/08/2017) - Vintage 2016
A good one but not the best
A decent vermentino. Nice flavour and taste. It goes well with light cheese or fish. I suggest it for summer aperitive with some tapas or fingerfoodby: Le Mée (25/06/2018) - Vintage 2016
Pour les amteurs du cépage Vermentino, pas d'équivalent sur le marché, un vin délicieux et rare. Sec et fruité en boucheby: Attilio (01/05/2017) - Vintage 2014
An excellent Vermentino 10 out of 10 which it gets better and better over the years elegant and almondy taste a long finishing.
The name Lunae is inspired by the city of Luni, an ancient Etruscan and Greek sea port dedicated to the Greek goddess, Selene, known as Luna by the Romans. Located in the south-eastern corner of Liguria, touching northern Tuscany, the hillsides of Luni are a renowned winemaking appellation sitting among a crossroads of cultures, such as the Etruscan, Greek and Roman cultures which have thrived here ever since the first settlements in the area in 177 BC.
