A coupage made from the produce of 3 parcels of Sumoll and 1 of Marcelan. No herbicides, insecticides or synthetic products are used in the production processes.
Aged in new (15%) and semi-new barrels for 12 months (Sumoll) and 13 months (Marcelan).

A lively red from a little-known grape
Sumoll is a grape that deserves to be more widely known, but its renaissance is well underway. It is grown mainly in Penedès and apparently is a challenge for growers and wine makers, but the people at Celler Pardas have overcome those challenges in style. The wine has aromas of red fruit: think sour cherries and red currants. It has a lively acidity and I guess it will keep well for a number of years in the cellar. Great with food or on its own. I highly recommend it.
A family-run winery located in the Torrelavit district, in the Alt Penedès, with the two young and enterprising owners taking care of the whole production process, a combination of viticulture and agriculture.
