Impressive Bordeaux style from Penedès

A great red Bordeaux style wine from Penedès. Barrel character, touches of currants, mint chocolate, tobacco, nuts, cedar, black currant and vanilla. Even better the second day after some decanting.

Splendid

This wine is full of cabernet franc character, but rounded a bit by the softness of the merlot. It has that unmistakable aroma of bell peppers and tomato leaf, but combined with streamlined fruit intensity of the Loire. The acidity is mouthwatering and will extend the life of the wine for another five to ten years. Excellent.
