Masciarelli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a powerful and intense wine, with a deep ruby red color. The nose reveals a complex and refined bouquet with notes of red fruit, cherry, black currant, violet and hints of tobacco. The taste is warm and enveloping with velvety tannins. On the table it goes well with appetizers such as terrine of wild game, meat pies, rustic pâtés and savory first courses, such as timbale with beef patties, meat ravioli, risotto with sausage, tagliolini with duck ragout and main courses such as: lamb with oven, roast feathered game, grilled meats and mature hard cheeses.

Nicely balanced wine, no vices, excellent value.
A good, non-Riserva Montepulciano, berry flavours,medium weight. Highly adaptable - it complemented both my personal chicken/anchovy/red pepper recipe, and cheeses - so it can be recommended as food-friendly. Montepulciano de bonne facture
Sans être exceptionnel, ce vin est très équilibré et fera honneur à bons nombre de plats. Il ne fera peut être pas palpiter, mais saura faire plaisir.
