Review
Catena Zapata wines are the excellent result of combining sections of different vineyards, yet always using the same varietal, so that the assortment of soils and microclimates found at the differing altitudes where they are grown allow the development of an array of richly-varied aromatic and flavour profiles. This 100% Malbec wine is a great example, with an exceptional, balanced and concentrated character. It is aged for a period of 12 months in 70% French oak, using 20% new, and 30% all new American oak barrels.
