A 100% Tempranillo that emanates primarily from their own Rioja Alta vineyards located at Cenicero. This a clean-looking wine with a lovely shade of deep cherry and a garnet edge. The nose presents a wide variety of aromatic nuances, highlighting ripe fruit and fine cocoa. Well-structured on the palate, it immediately comes through as powerful and velvety-smooth, with ripe tannins and balanced acidity.
Aged for 17 months in 225-litre American oak barrels. Subsequent refinement in bottle for a further three and a half years before being released for sale.

I simply love this wine!
This is probably my favourite wine. I has this specific Rioja oak taste and it is so smooth at the same time. I am so happy I found it with delivery to the UK and it is definitely worth the shipping charges. I will for sure be purchasing again *****by: Tony Clarke (15/03/2018) - Vintage 2013

Cote de Imaz Reserva is a very underrated Rioja. Its price is very reasonable for the quality of wine you are buying. It offers excellent value for money as well as providing a quality wine.by: Craig (27/01/2020) - Vintage 2015
Great wine for the price
The regular reserva is a wine with a good round taste and one that really benefits from decanting for the full effect. Give it a go, for the price it’s a safe bet.by: chris preston (29/11/2017) - Vintage 2012
a great wine
The taste is mouth filling with lots of red fruit influences combined with vanilla new American oak. The wine has a soft tannin structure and a very long finish.by: Andy (25/02/2017) - Vintage 2012
A great rioja
Consistently one of the best riojas you'll find for around £10 and certainly as good as some you'll find at twice the price. Well worth having a few in the cellar
