Review

Viura grapes have been used in the production of this wine, with 50% of them originating from the Rioja Alta and 50% from the Rioja Alavesa. Both locations provide grapes that endow the wine with good acidity and the great freshness that is apparent on the nose and palate. The aromas of white fruit give way to a palate that is pleasantly citrus and crisp in character.

A delicious light white wine

I discovered this wine when holidaying in Spain last month. My friends, who live there, absolutely love it and, now, I do too. In fact, I loved it so much that I ordered a case from Vinissimus as soon as I got home. It was much cheaper doing this, although you have to pay for the carriage, than buying it in the UK at some exorbitant price! It is a delicious, light, dry white wine with plenty of character for such a bargain.

Easy going!

I ordered this wine because of its good reviews, 4 and 5 stars, but also being low in price with it... It's a very easy going white wine with a pleasant taste, not too dry or sweet. Great to serve on a party or a nice sunny afternoon in the garden; it won't fail!

still good..but not as fresh...

It is remarkable how refreshing and crispy was 2015. Much more noticeable are notes of oxidation on the 2016 vintage, less fruity flavours and persistence too. He did so lost a star. However, price wise, it still is a really good wine.

A great spanish rioja

During winters in spain, we tasted a few wines and then came across El Coto white rioja. It's a zesty accompaniment to good food which is reasonably priced . We were pleased to find it back home. Enjoy trying it!

An easy drink with or without food

Tried this at our local wine merchant on a wine tasting evening and bought 1 bottle. Liked it so much that I then bought a case. Offered it at Christmas and everybody loved it. Will be buying more!
