The first vintage of this blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet and Merlot, made in the Ribera del Duero, is an absolute delight from Tomás Postigo, starting up a new venture on his own.

In appearance, the wine is a purplish cherry-red colour with blue glints and of high density. The nose displays aromas of wild black fruits, along with floral, lactic, spicy, balsamic and toffee notes. On the palate, it is complex, flavoursome, warm, powerful and balanced. It exhibits sweet, compact tannins and fruit notes, ending with a lengthy finish.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

No defrauda

Vino suave y de calidad y, que en mi opinión, es el gran desconocido y debería tener más publicidad. Recomendable.

I’d buy it again - fine Duero Red.

A fine, strong red from Duero region, full of depth and flavour and one of only a few good Spanish reds to which I would happily return again.

Ejemplar pero cada vez más caro

Empezó siendo la otra opción a Pago de Carraovejas, más económico, pero lleva camino de superarlo hasta en precio. Gran vino, pero conviene mantenerlo un año más para su afinación en botella. Aconsejo moverlo cada dos meses de guarda.

Le falta tiempo

Le falta tiempo en botella, necesita tiempo para pulirse , otras añadas fueron mejores , las dos ultimas añadas no han sido buenas
