Details for El Buscador 2015
Review
El Buscador turns out to be a red semi-Crianza, yet it is actually the result of combining a Crianza wine (a selection of barrels of El Nómada, aged in French oak for 14 months) with a young wine (the last tank of El Guía, the bodega's newest red). An interesting blend of Tempranillos, in the main, with a small amount of Garnacha, that comes over aromatic on the nose, with notes of cocoa, liquorice, green pepper and dark chocolate, then creamy, pleasantly-flavoured and very fruit-forward on the palate. This is a fresh, lively wine and the perfect companion for soft white and semi-cured cheeses, white meats and poultry, and also firm fish.
