Review

This young Alicante wine is produced from old Monastrell grapevines which are characterised by their concentration and complexity. Despite this being a hot weather region influenced by the sea, harvests are late (at the end of October) and the alcohol content is not overly high (13º-14º).

This results in a meaty wine with great colour concentration and a fruit-laden aroma, combined with a very pleasant palate.

Great value for money

As mentioned in the title, this wine is really good value for money. Took a punt as very other Telmo wine I've had so far has been worth the money. This is a no-brainer.

One of the few Mourvèdre bottles of late that failed to please, tasted a little chemically and left a headache. Not for me.
