The wine
Zuccardi Concreto is one of those wines that define a way of understanding Malbec. Made from grapes grown on the calcareous soils of Paraje Altamira and Gualtallary, and aged entirely in concrete tanks, it forgoes oak in order to preserve the vineyard’s identity. The result is a deep, precise red in which fruit, freshness and minerality express themselves with complete naturalness. A wine that captures, like few others, Sebastián Zuccardi’s philosophy and that, vintage after vintage, has become one of the great benchmarks of the Uco Valley.
What does this wine taste like?
An intense, bright violet color. On the nose, it is subtle and elegant, with aromas of black and blue fruits intertwined with delicate notes of violet flowers, mountain herbs and a pronounced mineral character. On the palate, it surprises with its balance between concentration and freshness: the fruit shows with clarity over a silky, enveloping texture supported by vibrant tension. The finish is long, deep and persistent, with an elegant limestone imprint and a delicate saline note that invites another sip.
