Bottle size and vintage
A coupage of Tinta Fina (90%) and small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) and Merlot (5%), which are produced separately before being aged in French barrels for 6 months and concluding with its tannins polished in bottle for between 3 and 6 months prior to being released onto the market.
A ruby-red colour, its purple-hued bright glints denote its combination of youth and ageing. On the nose, its pure fruitiness integrates too with the barrel notes and delivers an aromatic harmony of black fruits (blackberry and blueberry) on a background of ripe grapes and hints of liquorice and vanilla. After these, other spicy aromas and a touch of cinnamon sweetness. On the palate, notable highlights are its silkiness and acidity, well counterbalanced with some sweet tannins which round off the wine even more.

Like everyone we all find that the wines we buy at home are not always the same as sitting in Spain and enjoying the local wine. Es un vino correcto para su precio, pero pelín aburrido. Yo, personalmente, prefiero que los tintos jóvenes sean de un afrutado un poco más alegre.
