Review

An elegant and smooth Reserva with pleasant tannins.

A ruby red colour, the wine is clean and bright in appearance. The nose exudes an aroma brimming with intensity, of very ripe red fruit on a balsamic background. The palate is smooth, fresh and sinewy, with well-integrated and polished tannins, exhibiting touches of liquorice on the aftertaste.

Aged for 18 months in 2 year-old French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels, and subsequently for 12 months in bottle.

Tinto excelente

Buen vino a buen precio

Acierto seguro

Rioja reserva muy superior a su precio.

Gran vino de Rioja, precioso color, aroma y paladar. Vale más de lo que cuesta. Las bodegas Luis Cañas siguen haciendo las cosas bien.
