A forward-thinking project got underway in the year 2000 which has revolutionized the whole concept of wines from Extremadura: Bodegas Habla. Located in Trujillo, it possesses certain characteristics for producing top-quality wine: acid soils with a slaty texture, fairly infertile ground that requires hard work, and a marked diurnal variation in temperature, which all contributes to making these wines especially fine and elegant.

Habla del Silencio is the younger sibling of Habla, and actually reveals many of the excellent qualities of the latter, although naturally being an easier style of wine to drink. It presents a very good choice for getting to know the wines both of Extremadura and this bodega.

Its powerfully intense, purplish-blackberry colour prepares us for an array of rich, attractive, engaging aromas of nutmeg, graphite, blackcurrant, cassis (very discernible aromas that can be found in rosé champagnes), and, after swirling the glass, aromatic hints are detected of fungi and creamy cakes, coming through most elegantly. If we close our eyes and bring the glass closer, the distinctive champagne traits appear: richly impressive, like fireworks being set off on the palate, offered on a generous, fresh entry. As it passes through the mouth, the wine has a lot to deliver in body and power. Give it plenty of time on the palate and then see how it builds up for a truly explosive finish.

Habla del Silencio, for those who like a strong reaction.

Excelente relacion calidad-precio
