The wine
Whispering Angel Rosé is the wine that defined the modern Provence rosé movement — and two decades after its first vintage, it remains the benchmark. Made by Château d'Esclans in the hills north-east of Saint-Tropez, it is now the world's best-selling premium rosé wine and has been owned by LVMH since 2019.
The 2024 vintage is widely considered one of the finest in the wine's history. A dry summer with cool nights preserved exceptional freshness and aromatic precision in the Grenache, Vermentino and Cinsault blend. The result is a wine with Whispering Angel's signature pale pétale de rose colour and a palate that combines delicate red fruit with a mineral, slightly saline finish.
