Chardonnay, the principal varietal in the coupage, brings freshness and ageing potential thanks to the continental climate it grows in, while Xarel·lo and Parellada grapes from the Mediterranean climate of Penedès round the cava off. A splendid Gran Reserva; complex, expressive, with a guarantee of a long life.

This Cava is very smooth and creamy. Really luxurious. A wine for a special occasion. I still prefer Champagne, but the price difference is substantial.
