Josep Coca Brut Nature is not a wine designed to impress at first bubble, but to speak calmly of a place, a way of working, and a deep conviction: that wine can only be great when it is faithful to its terroir.
Josep Coca devoted his life to defending a very clear idea of quality sparkling wine. He believed bubbles did not need makeup or artifice, but well-understood vines, traditional varieties and, above all, time. That way of thinking is today the heart of Sabaté i Coca, where work in the vineyard and the cellar responds to what they call Consciéncia de Terruño.
A way of seeing the landscape as a living whole. Of understanding that each soil, each exposure and each microparcel expresses something different. On the estate, more than 40 hectares are divided into 66 parcels, set on 18 different soil types, all worked and vinified separately. Not to complicate the process, but to listen to it better.
This Corpinnat is born precisely from that attentive listening. From the desire to capture the maximum expression of Xarel·lo and Macabeu through a holistic approach: absolute respect for biodiversity, organic viticulture, manual harvesting and minimal intervention that lets the wine find its balance without final corrections.
That is why this Brut Nature contains no expedition liqueur. It does not need it. Its balance comes from the grapes, the terroir and a long ageing (60 months) in bottle, which refines the bubble and adds depth without losing freshness. On the nose it is precise and clean, with white fruit, delicate bread notes and a mineral background that brings verticality. On the palate it is dry, fluid and vibrant, with an integrated bubble that accompanies without imposing and an acidity that invites another sip.
Opening a bottle of Josep Coca Brut Nature is, in the end, a way of remembering that great sparkling wines are not made to dazzle in the short term, but to endure in memory.
