The wine
Ideal for drinking on its own or with aperitifs or desserts. Perfect with cheeses, pasta dishes, pastries, fresh fruit and ice cream.
A jet black colour with amber glints, the wine exhibits aromas of raisins, figs and honey on the nose, along with bitter touches of cocoa and tobacco. It is dense, elegant and rounded on the palate.
Produced using the ‘solera’ method of fractional blending. After spending a year in tank for decantation, it underwent oxidative ageing in American oak butts for a period of 20 years.
