Details for PradoRey Finca Valdelayegua 2016
Bottle size and vintage
The PradoRey Finca Valdelayegua Crianza red wine comes from the Finca Valdelayegua vineyard, located at a height of 815 metres above sea level and producing deep-coloured and structured grapes with an exceptional freshness and strong minerality, owing to the high proportion of calcareous clay in the soil. This Crianza ages for 12 months in French and American oak, as well as spending 3 months in Nevers oak barrels.
With a high intensity in the nose, the aroma of ripe red fruits are to the front, while sweet sensations from its ageing and its balsamic and mineral notes give it its complexity. Flavoursome in the mouth, with fine tannins and a pleasant freshness, this wine has a very good balance, with well-integrated wood and the perfect amount of fruit.

Best Tempranillo under £30 you can get !!!!
I work for a Spanish company and was in a tapas restaurant with some Spanish friends who introduced me to the 2012 vintage about 3 years ago and I've never looked back. The 2012's have all gone and 13's are rare but worth the price if you can find them. The 14 is a great drink and for me the best Tempranillo for under £30 you can buy and trust me my Spanish colleagues force plenty on me. It goes great with a cheese board or any tomato based pasta dish but what I love most about it is it's great just to drink on it's own.....it needs no help to be a great drink !!!by: Manel Serrano (21/05/2017) - Vintage 2014
The PradoRey winery cultivates 520 hectares of vineyards, located in the Real Sitio de Ventosilla estate in the east of the Ribera del Duero region. They aim for their wines to express the terroir, the estate, the grapes, and the soil, which are all essential parts of the final result. This Ribera del Duero wine cellar has been a ground-breaking one in many aspects: producing wines in the 'Roble' category, with only a short period of time in oak barrels, when many others prod...
