The wine
For decades now, the wines and Cavas of Castillo Perelada have been served at the tables of many historical figures, receiving the honour of being selected at high-profile banquets such as the coronation of HM King Juan Carlos I, the weddings of their Royal Highnesses Fabiola and Baudouin of Belgium and the Prince and Princess of Asturias, as well as during the visits of various presidents of the United States. The special tribute wines honour some of these personages, including our founder, Miguel Mateu, and one of the most famous people to originate from the Ampurdan, Salvador Dalí.
Matured for 20 months in American and French Allier oak barrels. Subsequent rest in bottle.
