Grego Garnacha Centenaria

Grego Garnacha Centenaria 2020 is a unique expression of old Garnacha grapes grown at high altitude in the Sierra de Gredos (Madrid). It is made from vines that are over 100 years old, cultivated in granite soils at an altitude of over 800 metres.

This red wine reflects the purity of the Garnacha grape in an almost wild state, with minimalist winemaking that respects the character of the terroir to the utmost. It is fermented with native yeasts and aged for several months in used barrels or neutral tanks, which allows its freshness and varietal expression to remain intact.

On the nose, it displays intense aromas of ripe red fruit, wild herbs and a subtle mineral background. On the palate, it is agile, with polished tannins, good acidity and a long, delicately spicy finish.
