La Manzanilla Fina La Cigarrera is a fortified wine made exclusively with Palomino Fino grapes in the historic La Cigarrera winery, located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Andalusia. Aged under a layer of flor using the solera and criadera system, it develops a unique fresh and saline character, influenced by the area's Atlantic microclimate. Pale yellow with greenish reflections, the nose offers intense aromas of raw almonds, fresh herbs and marine notes. On the palate it is light, vibrant and dry, with a long and persistent finish that highlights its marked saline personality. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with seafood, fried fish and Andalusian tapas. Served well chilled (6-8°C), this manzanilla is the pure expression of the Sanlúcar terroir and an essential choice for lovers of traditional wines from the Marco de Jerez region.

Décevante tabatière
Au premier contact, ce n’était pas terrible : vin plus que discret pour ne pas dire absent. Je décrétai alors une revanche arguant du fait que mon Classico d’Illy d'avant apéritif était peut-être un poil trop corsé. Plus tard, accompagné par un jambon cru de belle sélection, le vin fit de nouveau pâle figure : mollesse au lieu de noblesse, rondeur en lieu de fraîcheur, salinité comme fruité d’une extrême discrétion, finale douteuse. Goûté sur plusieurs jours afin de confirmer mon ressenti, je pris la décision de ne plus jamais commander ce vin préférant d'autres marques plus sûres.

Belle typicité
Cette manzanilla a toute la salinité et le zeste d'une manzanilla jeune. Parfaite avec des fruits de mer. Tout Sanlucar dans une bouteille !

Paßt immer, wenn es frisch hergehen soll. Angenehme Säure, leicht salzig, nicht " state of the art", dennoch Preis Leistung stimmt.
