The wine
A fine example of carefully-grown Verdejo grapes producing a nicely complex wine, and one that offers good evolution in bottle. This is a wine well-worth trying.
A golden yellow colour, vivid and bright in appearance, there is great intensity of aroma on the nose, with a display of white fruit and white floral notes accompanied by hints of aniseed. On the palate, it is elegant, glycerine-touched, with a good level of acidity and fine fruit expression. The pleasant finish reveals the Verdejo's distinctive light bitter touch.
Aged on its lees for 7 months in American oak barrels.
