Robatie Crianza
2017Details for Robatie Crianza 2017
Review
Made from the grapes of vines located in the Rioja Alavesa, lying within the municipal districts of Baños de Ebro, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Elciego and Laguardia.
The wine is a Picota cherry-red colour, and clean and bright in appearance. The nose displays aromas of ripe fruit with notes acquired during ageing. It is balanced, with plenty of body and rounded on the palate, which is persistent, fruit-forward and fresh. Some pleasant tannins are also evident.
Aged for 14 months in French (50%) and American (50%) oak barrels, with a subsequent repose in bottle for a further 12 months.
