Review

This is a carefully-aged blend of Cabernet and Tempranillo. Dark red in colour, its aromas reveal plums and ripe fruits with evidence of ageing coming through in dark chocolate and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine shows elegance and an agreeable roundness, with black berry fruits and sweetly integrated tannins. The lengthy finish is touched by acidity and a pleasant freshness.

NOTE: On their oenologist's own recommendation, decanting this wine is not considered necessary.

    First Class wine

    A lovely wine from an excellent vineyard. Full bodied and good rich flavour. Not delicate in any way. Give it a try.

    Rich, deep and flavourful

    A good red with great flavours on the palate. Exceptionally good with steaks and bbq meats. A good all rounder.

    Bandera de Costers del Segre

    Si hay un vino que define a la perfección las cualidades de la denominación de origen Costers del Segre, éste es sin duda Raimat Abadia. Vino con cuerpo, pero suave, bien equilibrado e ideal tanto para tomar con carnes como acompañar con quesos o platos más ligeros. La clásica uva española se conjuga perfectamente con la Cabernet para crear un vino delicado, intenso, suave y delicioso. Un clásico para repetir.
