Made primarily from the Tempranillo variety (85%), grown in 25 year-old vineyards, with some additional Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) from vines planted 10 years ago. Harvesting is still done manually in order to avoid damaging the grape clusters and so that a more accurate selection can be made.
Appearing clean and bright, and a Morello cherry colour with violet hues, the wine releases an aroma of medium-high intensity, fruit-driven and definitely varietal, with spicy touches endowed by oak-ageing. After a smooth entry, it is full and structured on the palate, rich in nuances and with an ample aftertaste.
Aged for 4 months in new American oak barrels.

Drinking and storing
Easy drinking, full of flavour
First tasted at a restaurant in Los Romanes , La Vinuela, ES. . Not available back in the UK. We enjoyed it so much we Googled it and Vinissimus came up. We ordered a case! Still only £5.05 with tax. A bargain, absolutely delicious. I would say it's a "C" on the A-E scale.
Always my favourite when I lived in Spain. Couldn't believe my luck when I discovered I could order it in the UK and have it shipped by Vinissimus. Arrived in 5 days, excellent service.
For the price, good
Fruity but a bit thin. Benefits from pre opening or a quick decant. Easy drinking if unspectacular but hey, at this price It’s hard to find too much to grumble about.
A very good wine full of body and taste. Very good price. Wonderful service from your company. Will definitely order from you again
As always this can be relied upon to deliver full fruit and smooth tannins. A light touch of oak and a good finish.
