The wine
Pura Vida 2023 is a white wine from the Costers del Segre DO produced by Cellers Underground from a blend of Chardonnay (60%) and Macabeo (40%), aged for 8 months on lees with 20% of the wine refined in French oak. It has a golden yellow colour and an elegant nose with ripe white fruit, citrus, flowers and subtle herbal notes; on the palate it is unctuous but fresh, with well-integrated acidity, a mineral background and Mediterranean hints. A balanced, versatile and contemporary wine, perfect for accompanying oily fish, rice dishes, white meats and herb-flavoured dishes.
