Review
Pujanza has been synonymous with elegance right from its early beginnings. The winery has understood how to respect the essence of Rioja tradition, but applying the required touches of modernity which allow its wines to adapt to contemporary times.
Pujanza Hado is the winery's initial wine, yet it already possesses all the merits of its older siblings. Its fruit is red and intense and the oak acts as a compliment whose only function is to enhance. The altitude of the vineyards and the complexity derived from a calcareous-clay soil form the profile of a wine that has the foundations of a great red, one of those wines in which everything is as it should be (acidity, tannins...), in perfect harmony.
It has character but there's no arrogance, it comes over as direct and fresh, but always based on elegance and refinement. The freshness of wild red berry fruit, spices like cloves and pepper, and a lactic touch laced with shavings of orange peel and fine toasty notes ensure that Pujanza Hado will be liked by all and intriguing to many.

Those very first bottles made on the family's premises held a unique wine which featured th...
