Vermell is a very special little wine. It's made from indigenous varieties (Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera and Mandó) in the old traditional way, in earthenware jars buried in the winery's underground galleries. It's very fruit-forward and fresh on the nose, with aromas of damp clay, herbs and woodland bushes, and fruity on the palate, especially red fruit, pleasant, pure, profound and easy drinking. At this price and because of the good reviews it's received from the very first vintage... who could resist trying it!

Excellent new find
I bought this wine because it was highly rated by Parker and costs less than €10. I was not disappointed. It is soft and appealing in the mouth but with enough body to accompany a spicy lamb dish that we were eating with it. I shall certainly buy it again.
Good and tasty wine.
Complex, spicy flavor with pickles, elements of blackberries, violet, cloves, cherry, sandalwood, pepper and vanilla. Suitable for dishes of lamb or beef
light and fine
Lighter than we usually seek, but a wine with a sense of sophistication and fine flavour, we felt "this is a fine wine", we were very happy to have it.
Very smooth and refined.....lovely little wine. Doesn't try to do too much....bought it for my daughters wedding reception as it is a good all-rounder
This is a lovely everyday wine at a fantastic price. I shall definitely order this again and might well look into this producers other offerings.
