The wine

Dedicated by the maker to his wife María Luisa, Manna is made from the Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer varieties. The grapes come from vineyards situated at altitudes ranging between 350 and 850 metres above sea level, on soils of varied composition that make them more suited to one variety or another. The grapes are harvested separately (the Gewurztraminer, for example, is picked later than the rest) and afterwards, the wine is matured on its lees in steel containers for about ten months.

Manna was created with the intention of offering consumers a well-finished, structured and balanced wine, and with its versatility in food pairings very much in mind. Thanks to its special wine-making process, it offers complexity and good ageing capability that becomes all too evident when served in the glass and throughout the meal.

Since 1880 this family-run winery, one of the most firmly-rooted in this region, has shown dedication and respect in their work with the varieties which adapt best to the location's extreme conditions; among them is the Pinot Noir, with Franz Haas being one of its greatest interpreters. Typicity,...
