Review

With this wine, Bodegas Almanseñas seeks to offer the limestone character of the farm with a younger, lighter and fresher profile. A young red wine made from Garnacha Tintorera, ecologically grown.

Intense red, with purple edges. Fresh and floral red fruits (rose petals, violet), with sweet spices (cinnamon) and salty spices (clove, pepper, ...), sandalwood, bay leaf, menthol, ... Soft entry in the mouth and directly attack your nose are perceived final, filling everything with a sweet feeling, with tannins well present and at the same time friendly. Long and fruity finish.

    No me dice nada

Tiene un toque mineral pero es lo único que tiene no hay más matices por lo que no lo recomiendo

    Fine

Fine wine, nothing too special about it, not a celebration kind of thing.

    Fantastic

This is one of my favourite wines and to top it off its vegan! We have ordered it many times and it’s delicious and complex. Tastes oaky and of black cherries, with no harsh acidity. It never gives me a headache, probably because it’s organic too.

    Relatively young

Good generally quaffer, I did enjoy it and will probably buy again but generally like something a little more full bodied.

    Bodegas Almanseñas

Ester Nin (Priorat) began her wine career at Bodegas Almanseñas. Today, José Ángel Martínez Marchante and Juan José Diez Saus are the winery’s technical managers, advised by Pep Aguilar and Patri Morillo also from the Priorat, and assisted by the whole team. Working on this new project, their intention is to convey all the personality of the Almansa terroir, especially through the Garnacha Tintorera, capable of endowing wines with a strong flavour, and Monastrell varieties....
