The wine
as a young lively garnet red, with aging it acquires orange reflections. The aromatic profile is intense, ethereal, spicy with hints of dog rose petals, licorice, leather and truffle. The sip is warm, austere, full, robust and at the same time velvety and elegant. As a young man it is appreciated for its freshness even if with some angularity, with aging the wine softens and the warmer and spicier tertiary hints develop. Excellent in combination with braised and overcooked meats, game, mature cheeses. Excellent combination with the Alba White Truffle.
