The wine
Vora la Mar is a wine born very close to the sea. It is made with a selection of top quality organically-produced Pansa Blanca grapes (the local name for Xarel·lo) in Alella, a small appellation just north of Barcelona. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and a part of it aged on its lees.
What does this wine taste like?
The result is a wine with a delightful texture and structure. Floral and citric aromas, together with a saline hint characteristic of the area, dance together in a fresh and direct wine with a pleasant acidity, although it also bears a mild sensation of density and a defined structure with a somewhat fatty body. All in all, a wine whose freshness, aromas and flavours carry us off to the Mediterranean.
