Pleased with the outcome
I tasted this Crianza with some lasagne. I think it was pretty good. Nothing special, but I was pleased with the outcome. Nice wine!by: Urs Zehnder (26/01/2018) - Vintage 2014
Dieser Wein hat einen ganz speziellen Charakter. Das vollmundige Aroma habe ich schon immer sehr geliebt. Über viele Jahre konnte ich den Wein nicht mehr finden.by: Emiliano (22/01/2018) - Vintage 2014
Excelente relacion precio/calidad
Un Ribera espectacular con mucho caracter, y tonos con sabor a madera. Quizas uno de los mejores ribera por menos de 20€by: Richard W (03/01/2017) - Vintage 2012
Best value Spanish red available, bar none!
Excellent Value Crianza, best Spanish Red in its price range by absolute miles! Suggest letting it breathe for a few hours before drinking. Classic Ribera Rioja tones, but very smooth, with lots of Oakiness and Vanilla notes coming through. Will certainly be buying again. Valduero is my favourite wine maker, and is head and shoulders above other vineyards in my opinion. You'd be pushed to find a better Spanish red within this price range. This is the 2012 Crianza. I have tried the Reserva & Gran Reservas which are more pricey, and obviously nicer, but I think this Crianza represents incredible value for money, and is my favourite wine for regular drinking. Very consistent maker though, with reliably good wines throughout the entire Valduero range. The Una Cepa is also worth trying, as are the Reserva and Gran Reserva options. If you haven't tried Valduero wines yet, do it now!

Gregorio García and his two daughters, Yolanda and Carolina, have developed a robust project based on three key factors: their own low-yield vineyards producing top quality grapes, a unique winery, and paying special attention to customers' preferences and to th...
