Details for Tinto Pesquera Crianza 2017
Bottle size and vintage
In each bottle of Tinto Pesquera Crianza there lies a little bit of Ribera del Duero history. Quite true, since its creator, Alejandro Fernández, was making wines in this area even before it became the prestigious denomination of origin it is nowadays.
Today, Alejandro's character still comes through clearly in his bottles, in the form of an open wine, brimming with fruit, approachable right from the start but also capable of ageing most elegantly. Good fruit, delicate oak, elegant tannins and character throughout. An essential red for understanding the Ribera del Duero DO.

Sin la magia habitual.
Los parametros son los constantes en este magnífico vino. Sin embargo la decepción tras el primer trago es monumental. Ni tiene apenas cuerpo. Lástima. Primera desilusión con un Pesquera.
Alejandro Fernández has been intrinsically linked to vine-growing in the Ribera del Duero region for nearly 40 years, following in his father's footsteps and the family tradition. When his first 'Tinto' was released in 1975, he had fulfilled his ambition, perhaps unwittingly then, to produce a great wine.
