My Value for Money "Wine of The Year" .........
Initially I added one to my order to try not really expecting anything special based on the price... How wrong could I have been, it now appears on all of my orders. This is an excellent young, bright and fresh wine that the producer has made to perfection. Only a short 2-3 month barrel exposure has added vanilla and banana in bucket loads, however still retaining great acidity, dryness and balance. My daughter hates my heavily oaked French Chardonnays but loves this superb value Spanish beauty.......now known in my household as "Banana Wine"
A simple sumptious wine at an extraordinary price,,,,
We cost of this wine belies its honest taste. You just dont expect such taste and refinement for a wine so inexpensive to purchase. It hits the tongue with a lovely tasty minerality and follows up with a smoothness and explosion of spring flowers and summer fruits. I have not found anyone yet who was not really impressed with this inexpensive but vibrant wine. A real hit for the summer barbeque season, and beyond.
A smooth soft white, with a bright and clear pale straw colour. It tastes of ripe melon with some peach. Probably best drunk on its own rather than with food.
A wonderful spanish chardonnay
I had a bottle in Spain and lived it so much I sourced it from vinissimus, it’s full of flavour and not too acidic
This is my favourite chardonnay, it tastes as stunning in England as it does in Mallorca where I first tasted it.
