The wine
Sometimes things don’t work out as planned, and you have to resort to ‘plan b’.
That is what happened to this winery which suffered problems with their electricity supply when there were preparing the vinification of their first vintage in 2005: the electrical power was unable to reach their equipment and they had to resort to using a generator.
Plan B is distinctive due to being produced with a native grape variety making a recovery, called Morenillo (25%), along with Garnacha (40%), Cariñena (25%) and Syrah (10%). A smooth, structured and easily drinkable wine.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
