The wine

This wine, chosen by the Frescobaldi family to continue the tradition of reserving a private collection for its new born, originates from the oldest vines of the Castello Nipozzano, equipped with a deep root system. Of great complexity and harmony, it ages for 24 months in oak barrels as per ancient Tuscan tradition.

Nipozzano Vecchie Viti is intense ruby red; the nose is enveloping with hints of dark berries supported by the sweetness of vanilla and accompanied by pleasant toasted cocoa notes. The richness of the fruit already perceived on the nose is confirmed on the complex and persistent palate with notes of blackberry and gooseberry. It marries wonderfully with the most delicate game: quail, partridges, woodcock to the more elaborate one such as deer, deer.

Frescobaldi embodies the essence of Tuscany, its extraordinary...
