Nebbiolo d'Alba Roccheri is a Piedmontese red with good gustatory and olfactory intensity. It has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. Floral notes of roses and hints of vanilla and spice make up a pleasant aromatic profile. The sip is intense but fresh, composed of good tannic texture and excellent persistence on the palate. It goes well with meat dishes, pasta with meat sauce and aged cheese. Also excellent with mushroom risotto.

A properly medium bodied nebbiolo, definitely the kind fo simple, pleasurable village wine that you'd expect for the price but with a little bit more of everything. Balanced, rich, a hint of oak. Deftly made and well priced.
