Saglietto is straw yellow in color with reflections that turn to golden; the aromatic profile is broad, composed of pleasant notes of white-fleshed fruit embellished with vanilla and spicy hints of white pepper. The sip is rich and soft with flavors of honey but supported by a good freshness. Perfect throughout the meal, it goes well with fish appetizers, soups, pasta and fresh cheeses.

Subdued but pretty
Very pleasant, with elegant fruit albeit a bit subdued. I was expecting more, somehow, but I enjoyed in a hot evening with prawn soba noodles.
