The wine

Vietti is a historical name, a winery that has been producing quality, fine, large, rich in substance wines since 1900 (as many as 14 labels). The company has vineyards scattered throughout the Langhe area, including those located in Santo Stefano Roero, right in the heart of the DOC.

The joyful label of this Arneis suggests freshness, naturalness, spontaneity, all characteristics that we actually find in this delicious straw yellow wine. The aromas that we discover in the glass are poetry: floral and fruity aromas, yet a handful of aromatic herbs creeps in between them. It would seem to smell a country meadow in the morning, when dew still lingers on the stalks of grass and wild flowers. Then there are the chamomile, the white pulp fruits, the citrus fruits, the melon and the hazelnut while on the palate we find a body wine, fresh, crisp, that goes straight to the point.

Vietti

For four generations the Vietti family has been producing wines in Castiglione Falletto, a small medieval village situated in the centre of one of the most propitious areas of the Langhe for the cultivation of vines, the "Barolo area". In 1957 Alfredo Currado married Luciana Vietti and since 1960, after the death of his father-in-law, the family business continued, focusing production more and more towards high quality and positioning the winery among the best in the Langhe,...
