The wine
A great red from the Ribera del Duero, one that is powerful, balanced and expressive, and made by the Castilian winery belonging to the family of the famous fashion designer Amaya Arzuaga.
A very intense shade of dark red cherry, this wine releases on the nose an aroma of just the right level of intensity, exuding notes of ripe red fruit, dried fruits and nuts, wood and some tertiary notes (leather). A lovely palate, with the appropriate amount of acidity for a long-aged wine, rugged and well-handled tannins. Offering plenty of length.
18 months in American and French oak barrels.
