Angiuli Primitivo is a very pleasant red with a strong and decidedly territorial personality. The intense and brilliant ruby color is surrounded by shades tending towards purple; the nose perceives fruity and floral hints with a finish played on notes of aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is enjoyable, full-bodied, with lively acidity and delicately vibrant tannins. Very versatile on the table, it goes well with full-bodied first courses, red meats and aged cheeses. Perfect accompaniment to the whole meal.

An excellent wine for the price
Primitivo is becoming increasingly popular. This is one of the best producers I have tried so far. Highly recommended for a broad range of Italian dishes.
We discovered Primitivo wines on a visit to the south of Italy last year and have been buying them ever since. This is a lovely wine at a decent price.
A nice Primitivo
A nice Primitivo that is great with meat dishes. A very classic Primitivo in taste and finish and one that I choose as an everyday wine.
This has become our house wine and all our friends and guests love it. The wine is fruity and easy drinking and goes with most meats.
Very good value for money
A lovely, well rounded red wine, excellent with most foods and on its own. Particularly good with charcuterie and cheese.
Donato Angiuli's winery in Adelfia, a symbol of goodwill tied to the traditions of the territory and the constant pursuit of excellence, has been around for three generations and focuses on experimenting with Primitivo, enhancing its potential and peculiar differences. One of the most active and dynamic wineries in the territory, Angiuli works on only four hectares of land, a clear sign of an approach to quality winemaking.
