The wine

The challenge which Ermanno Accornero set himself when he decided to showcase all the grandeur of the Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese denomination is today a proven success. Bricco del Bosco is a clear example of what can be achieved with the rare Grignolino variety, enhanced here by the exceptional merits of a unique terroir.

The Grignolino is interpreted in different ways by the Accornero winery, which plays around with different periods of ageing and a variety of containers so as to highlight in this way its great versatility.

Offering incredible value for money, Bricco del Bosco appears a lovely ruby colour and reveals an aromatic and perfumed nose. On the palate it comes over as slightly tannic, fresh and with a very elegant fineness. Since 1980 Bricco del Bosco has been enabling us to appreciate the Grignolino's profile, as few have done, thanks to its single varietal composition and a production process carried out in steel tanks in order to preserve all its fragrance.

The winery is located in the municipality of Vignale Monferrato and cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards using organic farming methods, i.e. without the use of chemical products. The use of natural fertilisers and organic products helps to protect the soil in a natural way, which reduces the yield, but guarantees high-quality products. The winery, although equipped with modern machinery, remains faithful...
