Wines from Guardiola’s Restaurant
Discover wines like those served in Pep Guardiola's restaurant in Manchester. Elegance, origin and character, straight to your table with Vinissimus.

Pep Guardiola doesn't just manage teams. He manages experiences.
In the heart of Manchester, halfway between football and cuisine, the Catalan coach has left his mark with Tast Cuina Catalana, a restaurant that reflects his passion for what is well done. A project born in 2018 thanks to the alliance between Guardiola, Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain - all key figures at Manchester City - together with the Fazenda restaurant group.
The aim? To bring Catalan haute cuisine to the English city, without clichés or concessions. And they have succeeded.
The menu bears the signature of Paco Pérez, a chef with five Michelin stars, and the kitchen is run by a team of young talents such as Miquel Villacrosa, trained at El Bulli and Celler de Can Roca, and from the restaurant Cinco (Berlin). Together they offer contemporary Catalan cuisine: impeccable technique, exceptional produce and roots firmly rooted in tradition.

Tast is spread over three levels: informal tapas on the ground floor, a gastronomic restaurant on the first floor and an intimate space with a tasting menu on the upper level. The result is an experience that speaks of sea and mountain, of oil and fire, of long aperitifs and eternal after-dinner meals. All with the silent elegance of those who know what they are doing.
And although booking a table at Tast is not always easy, at Vinissimus we make it easy for you: we have selected wines, the ones you will find on the menu. So you can enjoy them at home, just like in Manchester.

Bubbly with character
There is no better way to start an evening - or a final - than with a good sparkling wine. At Tast, cavas occupy a privileged place, far from the cliché and close to the terroir.
- Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs: Vibrant, with citrus notes and mineral undertones. As elegant as the possession game.
- Raventós i Blanc de Nit: A rosé with sparkle, red fruits and dried flowers. Perfect for opening the mouth or closing a special evening.
Dried sweets to fall in love with
Guardiola is no friend of the obvious. And neither is his restaurant. That is why, instead of predictable sweet wines, Tast offers fortified wines and Pedro Ximénez with history and depth.
- Mountain Blanco: A dry wine from Montilla, saline and complex. Like a conversation between old friends.
- Fernando de Castilla Antique PX: extreme sweetness, but well-drawn. Ideal with chocolate desserts or blue cheeses.

Whites not to be forgotten
If white wine sometimes goes unnoticed, here it claims its place as a protagonist. Each with its own profile, but all with intention.
- Sola Fred Blanc: joyful, fruity, direct. Like a summer promise.
- Chardonnay Legardeta: Navarrese aged wine. Ample, complex, with good acidity. It does not fail.
- Terras Gauda: an Albariño with muscle, ideal for spicy dishes or oily fish.
- Terroir Historic Blanc: pure expression of Priorat. Mountain, stone and white fruit.
- Pazo Señorans Colección: a wine that proves that Albariño can also age gracefully.
Reds with soul
Tast Catala is a place for reds without artifice, where terroir rules and elegance prevails over volume. Here are some of the red wines you might find - or want - on the menu.
- Care Garnacha Tinta Nativa: An accessible and honest red wine. Red fruit, spices, freshness.
- Pétalos del Bierzo: Atlantic, floral and mineral mencía. A signature wine that does not impose.
- Les Terrasses Laderas de Pizarra: Modern Priorat, with precise fruit and polished tannin. A team player.
- Lanzaga: Rioja in its purest form. Tradition and freshness, without make-up.
- Viña Tondonia Reserva: A classic that never goes out of fashion. Like a good centre-back who always performs.
As with well-trained teams, everything on Tast's menu seems natural. But behind it, there are criteria, selection, and a deep respect for the product. The same thing we apply at Vinissimus.
So if you want to recreate the experience at home, you're in the right place. These wines are available in just a couple of clicks, carefully packed and shipped to your door.
And if you're still in doubt, consider this: a well-chosen wine can change a dinner party. And a well-timed glass, like a good pass, can be the move that transforms everything.
