The wine
K4 is Artuke’s most distinct wine, using traditional production methods, without stems, and undergoing four rigorous selections: in the vineyard (a single parcel in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria, a spectacular spot which absorbs the nutrients of a calcareous-clay soil with fragments of disintegrated rock from the mountain and takes in the region’s Atlantic climate), on the vines, among the bunches and among the berries.
Aged for 10-14 months in 500 and 600-litre semi-new oak barrels.
