Wine Villa Poggio Salvi Brunello 2016
|Alcohol content i||14.0%|
|Bottle size and vintage||0.75 L - 2016|
The particular exposure of Villa Poggio Salvi allows to obtain a Brunello of great value and finesse, starting from Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand with scrupulous attention. The main characteristics, namely the particular intensity in the aromas, the readiness and harmonious roundness in the tannins and the length in the aftertaste, are the result of the very particular pedoclimatic situation of the vineyards from which it comes. Villa Poggio Salvi is now a certainty in the panorama of Montalcino, and indeed represents a safe haven for lovers of tradition. In fact, the typical refinement in large barrels also contributes to the Poggio Salvi class of Brunello, which lasts for thirty months in Slavonian oak with a capacity of between 30 and 100 hectoliters. At sight it has a bright ruby red color with garnet hints. The nose offers puffs of macerated violet, dried rose, iris, accompanied by more crunchy sensations of red fruit, such as cherry and strawberry jam, pepper, cloves and licorice. Excellent tannins, freshness and structure. Full and rich Brunello, it also expresses an excellent persistence. Perfect with red meat, game and aged cheeses, but also with some well-seasoned first courses, such as macaroni with duck sauce.
- Optimum serving temperature:Between 16ºC and 18ºC
Bel vino da conservare qualcun anni, e un brunello di Montalcini di qualità no si aspetta altro di questa casa,
